A day with Joshua Muggleton: Growing up with Aspergers Syndrome
Joshua Muggleton
Josh is aged 21 and is a speaker and writer on Autism and Aspergers Syndrome. He was diagnosed when he was 15, after 8 years of difficuly in mainstream schooling. Bullying and lack of understanding by teachers led to Josh becoming depressed at a young age.
This seminar will cover Josh's life with autism with a strong focus on positive mental health, self-esteem and improving confidence. Josh will also discuss socialisation, sensory issues, communication difficulties, bullying and transition. It will give a helpful insight into understanding this difficult condition and will appeal to people with a diagnoses of autism spectrum condition, parents, carers and professionals.
Thre will be an opportunity to ask equestiosn at the end of the presentation.
9.30 am - 3.30 pm
